Undescribed material:
Localities: Waterloo Farm and Coombs Hill
Age: Famennian (Late Devonian)
Zosterophyllopsida is an extinct group of plants that lacked leaves and true roots. They formed low creeping mats of bifurcating photosynthetic stems that uncoiled at the tip in the same manner as fern fronds. These plants arose in the Early Devonian and likely include the ancestors of lycopods. Undescribed material from Waterloo Farm and Coombs Hill resemble Serrulacaulis.
